Dr. Grayson Zulauf is on a mission to combat climate change by electrifying everything.
Grayson is the co-founder and former CEO of Resonant Link. Resonant Link is #1 in wireless charging for medical devices and previously commercialized the fastest wireless charger for material handling equipment (business line acquired by ACT in February 2025). Resonant Link also successfully exited their business in wireless charging for electric vehicles.
Before Resonant Link, Grayson led product at Motiv Power Systems, where he helped launch “first-evers” in all-electric refuse trucks and school buses. He currently advises ZapBatt (proven fast-charge batteries), Scalvy (modular power electronics for EVs), and other deep-tech startups.
Grayson holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and has published 43 peer-reviewed publications that have received 3 IEEE Best Paper Awards and over 1,000 citations. Forbes, NPR’s Marketplace, CalMatters, Cipher, and TechCrunch have featured Grayson’s climate work.
Recognized as a 2022 Dial Fellow, an NSF Graduate Fellow, a Forbes 30 Under 30 - Energy honoree, a NASA iTech Energy Winner, and an Activate Fellow, Grayson combines technical substance with the ability to humanize the climate fight. His personal essays have been featured in The New York Times and Powder Magazine.
Grayson graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Engineering Studies and a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering. He lives in San Francisco and is proudly from western Colorado.
